The 8 is a actually a really good phone. Owned mine for 14 months with no issues. Battery health - 90%. Even switched to the 5 a couple weeks back but its way too slow running ios 12.4. Honestly its a brilliant phone. Mine is the 8 plus, 64gb. Hope this helps

The iPhone 8's "gold" looks more like a rose gold or baby pink, which I hate. Also, both the front & the back of the 8 are glass, doubling the chances of the phone cracking/breaking. I currently have the 5s & if it were water resistant, I'd stick with it. I think I'm going with the 7.

Nah, bad decision. If you are personally worried for the glass breaking, then buy a case goddammit. The 7 is not worth getting especially as its a generation behind and you won't get the next iOs or two after. I have a 5 which is the iPhone that came before yours, and I'm planning to buy an iPhone 8 gsm unlocked space gray from T-mobile, which only sells for $25/month for 2 years. It is not even that bad. Also after iPhone 11 comes out this iPhone bouta go down $150.

There wasn’t any other features other than wireless charging. Why would anyone need to buy a wireless charger just so they can use a feature I’m that was put in by Apple to advertise. The 8 also has better video such as 60 frames per second, whereas the 7 can only manage 32. Me having my fantasies of photography, this is very good. Also, soon as Apple becomes more advanced, many more phones could be out in the near future. Meaning iPhone 7 will soon be "Outdated" at will stop receiving updates like 6 or 6s is slowly stopping.

tipoomaster it is, i used the 8 plus, damn, speaker is loud, i do have the 7, in the 7 i can feel the stereo in max volume although the bottom speaker is still a bit louder, but in 50% and down, the stereo is not much. On my 8 plus though, the stereo is quite balanced, the earpiece speaker is loud...

oba femi I did it. I was a power user and had all these androids. Loved the google phones for performance and how smooth they were. I then switched to iPhone and performance is stellar. iPhone is buttery smooth and super optimized and also possesses a great camera. I take performance over anything, I’m not going back. (I still believe Android is great though!!)
