This shit literally only happened to iPhone users recently with 2020 being the earliest. It's obviously apple's technique to make people upgrade to the newer phones. This can't be just a hardware issue if all of a sudden, a lot of people are experiencing it at the same time. Apple needs to be called out for this shit. This does not correlate with their brand image and reputation.

They're NOT free. They are free to download, but once the programs have analysed the iDevice, downloaded firmware, failed to exit recovery mode, and prompted you to fix the device, they all hit a paywall and demand that you take out some form of subscription to proceed. This will only get you out of recovery mode if you have routinely entered recovery mode, it seems, with no other issues. If there are other issues, this program will NOT be free.

Gem of a video! I had given up any hope of recovering my precious data from my iPhone 11. The Apple store guys and a local 3rd party repairing shop with glowing reviews had literally told me that the phone had become a brick and there's nothing more that anyone could do. Omg this is one of the best supports for iPhone users!! Just saved my iPhone (1st gen) from a recovery mode. Took me one whole day. All I did was just recharge it first (1-2hours) then plug out the charger from iPhone, and wait for 1-2 hours. After that, I turned on my iPhone and it showed the normal screen like instead of going to the recovery mode. This was so frustrating as I didn’t back up my data and I was going to do that two days ago. I thought I was going to lose all my data. DON’T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR PHONE!!!!

Thank you so much. This worked. My device was stuck in recovery mode after a routine software update. Apple authorised service center said they are unable to fix and recommended going for a new device. They said this was a hardware issue. The "idiot" bar folks literally didn't do anything apart from what i could do at home ... which was connect to a mac and attempt recovery and update. If it had worked, they would have charged me INR 1800 for this "service" because my device was out of warranty. To everyone desperately looking for a method for this issue: I lost all hope, but it actually worked! I also had the issue, that my phone storage was absolutely full and my iPhone 8 was stuck in this bootloop and then in recovery mode. Tried a bunch of things and read a lot of information but in the end, what really worked for me was: 1. get in recovery mode 2. connect your phone to iTunes on your Computer. If possible use the best Equipment (like orignal Apple-Cable and USB 3.0 pot) 3. Try to install the update until it the ERROR 9, or 1100 or 14 or some other number pops up 4. unplug your phone repeat steps 1.-4. until it actually installs the update. You should be able to see that for some tries the loading bar actually gets further than on others, but that's kind of what motivated me to keep trying. I had to go for about 20 tries. Maybe it's quicker for you, maybe longer, but in the end it actually worked despite of my believes. Wishing your best of luck !

I keep getting an error code when I try to update my phone via itunes or even restore and wipe it. It has been stuck in recovery mode since 11am this morning it is now 1am the next day. Any advice... Apple were no help.

Yes I absolutely get all my data back! The issue is that i tried to update software via iTunes(i don’t have a mac) and my phone couldn’t complete the process.The iTunes show me the same error and my phone the same logo with this video.
