It will give you login link only again and again .. After login through the login link go to the security in settings and then click on Password option .. link will be sent on the text message for resetting password. Try it

Are u seeing the login window? If not try a webroser as shown or log out or switch users thats the only way to reset. You can also use a Laptop and webrowser.

Well there are many ways to recover your account based on the option you chose to do the reset or recovery and what information Instagram has for you. For example if they don't have your phone number that recovery is out for you, they might have your email so they will use that and so on.
