The SE 3 does have IP67 water resistance, Nick. The iPhone 13 models have IP68

@@Matt92Machine iPhone 7 was the first iPhone to have the IP67 water resistance rating. It would’ve been quite peculiar to not include on a smartphone that is released almost 5 1/2 years after the iPhone 7.

Mine arrives today 😻 I'm thrilled Apple still makes a high spec phone with touch ID and classic design. OLED screens give me migraines and face ID fails on me more in one day than touch ID does in a month, this phone is basically a holy grail for me. Only way it could get better is if it had night mode and had an SE plus version.

Yeah exactly, not sure why the complaints though. People who want the full screen and a more modern design there is a choice of iPhone Mini 12 or 13 which they just have to pay more for it. It is not like Apple on release 1 type of iPhone model.

People complain way too much about the iPhone SE. Yes it doesn’t have the most modern design or display. But in my opinion it offers an excellent value. And people who are going to buy this want the older design with the latest processor and features. Me personally I loved the original SE and the 2020 version grew on me over time except for battery life. You have to take into account this is the base model so obvious compromises had to be made in order to get a cheaper price. I do think the SE is impressive for all that it offers. Also, how are you only getting 4 and a half hours of SOT with this phone? I was getting that with the SE 2020. Quite a few reviews have said 6 hours of SOT or slightly better. Which would fit the promised two hours of battery improvement Apple promised.

Yes I’ll buy! Thanks for your honest review! It’s quite ‘work/on the job’ functional. The fingerprint sensor is also great in a mask wearing environment and for a discreet phone check for messages. My hands are small and so the size is ideal, plus its practically pocket size. I currently have an iPhone 8. Looking forward to this new purchase!

I agree, I like the shape of this phone with the rounded edges. I agree the SE3 is out of date, but the body shape is the best.

I started with the SE2 64gig and had that for almost a year before upgrading to the SE3 128gig. The performance increases in speed, battery life, camera software options and internet (if there is 5G available). This is due to the additional 1gig of RAM and the A15 chip. I actually like the classic minimal design. This phone is very light and thin, has tougher glass and dust and water resistance. The area where this phone disappointed me was that storage starts at 64gig, but I think it should have started at 128gig to increase its longevity of use. This entry level phone is for a person that wants basic use and a high quality Apple experience.

@@KBTjames Hello, yes you will notice a significant improvement in the battery life. It is pretty much as advertised as 2 hours of video time over the SE2. It should last for the entire day of average usage. It also has fast charging and in 30 min will go from zero to about fifty percent or more charged.

I love my SE3, I picked up the 256GB as they don’t do a 512GB like my 13 pro but still love the old design, I would love to see them put OLED on here and a better PPI but that would drive the cost up and wouldn’t be worth it and would be better going for a 13 model.

Yeah I love my iPhone 11 I just upgraded last year in June from a 6s to the 11 and I’m really liking it. I don’t think I’m going to upgrade to another phone anytime soon until my 11 starts to slow down and the battery starts crapping out on me.

Everything about this phone is all I actually needed, but with the same design, demanding an increased price just doesn't make sense.. Either use a modern Design with the increased price or decrease the price if you're using the old design..

Apple would’ve made a lot more sales if they did a 4.7” iPhone 4 style.. it’ll be much different in size compared to the 13 mini 5.4” display.. and possibly use iPhone 12 internals to keep cost down. So the line up of iPhones would be the same accept not a fancy iPhone 8, but a retro modern tech iPhone 4 Plus… apple doesn’t think outside the box, they can definitely get MUCH more creative.

I don’t know if I’d recommend the se. If your used to a minimal screen design on the 7T, the bezels will leave you unsatisfied. My recommendation would be to get an Xr, 11, 12 or 13 depending on your budget. If you don’t care about a smaller screen and bezels go ahead and get the SE. Face ID might not be your cup of tea compared to a fingerprint scanner but the displays on the bigger iPhones and the better battery life are worth it if your switching from a phone like the 7T

Nobody interested in this class of smartphone cares about the looks/design. The ONLY issues killing this phone's sales are #1) Battery Life & #2) 720p LED screen. NOBODY, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY cares about the bezels besides tech reviewers! If this phone had a *bright* 1080p OLED screen, even with BIG bezels & TouchID, and offered 5h+ screen-on time, it'd sell like hotcakes. Nobody cares about bezels.
