I keep telling my dad to wait to replace his iPhone 7 he got in early 2017. He knows the phone is barely clinging to life after 7 years of use and he’s not too happy about the 16 models. Ultimately I told him to hold out through this winter until spring 2025 to wait and see if the next SE is going to released or not. He will replace his 7 in the next 12 months guaranteed, whether that’s with a 16 model, SE(4th gen) or a (presumably) 17 model next year

IPS and small size are what make the SE worth it. Apples OLED screens give me terrible eye strain due to their low frequency PWM flicker. The iPhone SE three will be the last one with an LCD display and the nice small form factor.

My Pixel 7 has a home button. Has a back button. iPhones require swiping for everything and don't even give people the option. It would be so simple for iPhone to incorporate this as an option. Apple has a history of not giving it's users options.

Apple will make it just too expensive to buy outright, so you are more likely to buy or upgrade to the iPhone 16 through your service provider on a contract. Really don’t see a market for an expensive mid range phone considering your contact will still be the same price every month regardless. For this to be a successful midrange phone, it really needs to be around $350 - $450 to buy outright, and on contract like the google pixel it needs to be around $250 + your bill. Anyway let’s see what happens.

It's not an iPhone se with a bigger screen you can call it anything but that. iPhone se meant a smaller iPhone. Maybe to these companies it was a lot of other things like cheaper iPhone, or anything else, but there are people who don't care about a smaller iPhone, they would never look up iPhone se, like they'd probably stop at iPhone mini, but iPhone se has a 6.1 inch display? You can sell it for $50, I'm not buying it.

Lol.. Apple won’t release a phone that would hurt the sales of their current flagships. Expect an LCD display with a small sized battery. Maybe the only thing that could be worked on is increasing the size a little and narrowing the bezels but I don’t expect anything super from them. If you want something small then just get the iPhone 12 or 13 minis

I’m very disappointed with Apple and the SE four. They’re bringing it out at a flagship price. Not a budget friendly price. The price that they are bringing it out at is ridiculous. I’m not going to buy one. I’m going to keep using my iPhone SE three. I will look for overstock left of the threes and try to get a new one to replace mine when it dies. If I can’t, I’ll get one hell of a good used one because I refuse to pay that kind of money for a phone like that and Apple doesn’t care or they would make it budget friendly. They’re not making it budget friendly. It’s more like a low end, flagship phone not a budget friendly phone anymore. Apple’s making a mistake. I hope the phone doesn’t sell. I hope it’s a bomb shell a disaster because of the price if that’s the case and they bring the price down considerably I might buy one but at the price now. Hell no it’s not budget friendly anymore. SE third generation may not be a tech savvy a phone as the fourth generation, but who cares. The price keeps me in the third generation. The only way that I will get a fourth generation as if they lower the price a lot.
