For the massive price difference, the SE is a great deal. Thanks for the comparison. NeuralCam will give you Night Mode and Halide will allow portrait mode of inanimate objects. I went from a Gold Xs (256) the Black SE(64) mainly for the smaller size to power ratio. To have the brains of the 11Pro Max in the body of the 6-8 size is fantastic! I bought a Canon PowerShot SX620 HS which has 20.2MP and a 25x zoom. Being that it’s waaaay less than the 11Pro it was a no brainer. Adding the PowerShot with the SE and I still paid considerably less than the 11Pro. The SE is for when I have no other camera with me, the PowerShot is for when I know I want to take pictures that I planned for like a trip. My Xs is my last premium iPhone from Apple. It did a great job on my 2019 trip to Israel but I wish I had had the PowerShot instead. The SE, as you demonstrated is a competent picture/video taker for those moments when no other camera is available and at a price that’s affordable in a size that can easily fit in your front pocket!

Notice how @ 2:00 your proportions look much more natural on the right due to the longer focal length on the 11 Pro. In the wide angle portrait from the SE, your ears almost disappear and your face looks disproportionate. To me, this disqualifies the SE for proper portrait photos. Additionally, a short focal length with such a shallow depth of field just looks weird/wrong to me.
