Apple service center says the motherboard is dead and it would cost 71,000 to get it repaired, and they are not acknowledging that this has happened due to an update. Such a shame that Apple is still charging such huge amounts for a 3 year old phone. Worst experience with Apple. Waste of money. Apple products are just cash outflow machines. It's high time for public to realise so that Apple does not take its customers for granted.

Tumko bhi tech ka kuch pata nahi hai. Display mein aisa nahi hai. Apple bas requirement specs bolte hai display ki aur calibration bhi. Display ki kuch bhi design apple nahi karte hai. Look the fact is Apple made sure its device remains premium, so they obviously add their apple tax, but they also wants to make sure that people consider buying a new device instead of getting it repaired, and we all know only apple authourised service centers are allowed to repair that to the parts are locked along with the parts being geofenced where they can be installed(watched a youtube video where apple made sure that parts can only be repaired at the authorized repair shop and which part where it will replaced will be locked. Not sure if its true) So this ultimately adds up the cost. Also, if samsung were to make their repairs this costly people will not buy a samsung. And even if you compare repair cost of samsung it is also lessthan other android manufacturers is because samsung makes most of their components so they are able to save costs and thus pass it onto the consumers.

Sad that Apple is looting. Apple is a good phone and worth 70 to 80k for non pro. But yes repairs have to be practical. Use case and screen guard and I doubt will need a repair. Don’t charge and update same time. Been using iPhone since iPhone 3GS. Till now using iPhone 15. Never had a repair.
