Big G. Sent it to apple and it was 400$ to fix it. They sent it back and my screen was still changing colors but the water was out. Eventually my screen returned to normal but is really bad when it’s a black background. Was without a phone for a month. Camera no longer takes good pics at night and Face ID no longer works. Phone is also 100% not waterproof anymore. Works for now but am definitely buying a new phone when the 12 comes out. Best of luck to ya, and update me.

I got a new iphone 11 recently and noticed that when I took it out of my pocket, the screen had a very fine white substance on it. At first I thought it was dust but after turning my pocket inside out and thoroughly running a vacuum cleaner over the pocket material, the phone still gets the powder on the screen when I take the phone out of my pocket. I also placed my old phone in the same pocket and it comes out clean. WTF?

Started having this problem recently and I noticed because my face scanning wasn't working anymore. Will be going to buy a compressed air canister real quick to see if it'll work because actually the front of the screen is able to be lifted on mine. No damage or anything to the phone, but the front screen is able to be lifted??? Apple problems I suppose.

If Apple detects any sort of water damage in the device, Your warranty will be void and will require a full unit replacement. If there aren't obvious signs of water damage or water stickers weren't trigger it may be cover under Apple 1 Year Limited Warranty. EDIT: A full device replacement will cost $549

If you don't have experience in cleaning the insides of your device, I would contact Apple for assistance in repair or a local repair shop. Apple will most likely charge you $549 to replace the entire device since they don't do repairs on water damaged devices. Good Luck!
