Dropped my iPad ion the new tile floor last spring. Cracks across screen. Enough glass broke, just off the screen to the left, that there’s an open hole. Put some tape over the hole. iPad works just fine. And I love this new format of complete destruction.

It is surprisingly durable, I'm 6'3 dropped it twice from about midsection height before I managed to get a case. The drops sounded brutal but they didn't even mark the stainless steel sides! Can't complain!

My iPhone XS Max cracked from sliding off of my couch onto my hardwood floor. No damage to the frame or nicks or dings just the bottom right of the screen cracked and has a chip in the screen itself. We’re talking a non aggressive slide from about 11” onto a wood floor. Defect in phone maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️ thank god for Apple Care+ as it’s getting replaced for free on Tuesday 🙏🏼
