Sam Typhlosion The iPhones are even more expensive than that because if you want to match some features that other phones come with out of the box (like fast charging and a headphone dongle) which you should buy otherwise you'd be missing out on those features on such an expensive phone, that would cost you an extra 80USD (50USD for the adapter, 20USD for the lightning to USB cable, and 10USD for the headphone dongle) That is fucking insane!! Just goes to show that, when it comes to battery life, factors such as processor design and software optimization certainly help, but there's probably no substitute for a bigger battery, is there. Incidentally, that's one reason why I'm not as keen on multiple cameras as some seem to be. Each additional camera usually adds only one function, such as optical zoom or wide-angle photography, while taking away space that could be used for something like, you guessed it, a bigger battery. Having said that, Google just released its Pixel 3 phones with no DxOMark scores, which tells me that a single rear-facing camera can only go so far. But is the added space multiple lenses use worth the slightly extra camera proficiency, perhaps at the cost of battery life? I'm not so sure.
