Speed obviously not much of a difference, only reason worth upgrading for is better battery life and much better cameras and that too if you have 8 or 8 plus. For iPhone X users it's good for wait 1 more year and just forget that any iPhone came this year. It's not wise spend 1000+$ every year for a freaking phone which is 80 or 90% same as previous one.

I have an iPhone 6 and I will get a XS. The XS Max is toooo big and not usable with one hand. I am a romanian kid. In Romania, the XS Max costs $1900, and the XS only $1400. But still very expensive. So I think that the XS is much better than the XS Max and the X.
