Great video! Quick question i am looking for a replacement screen+frame and i came across a cheaper version marked as "LCD" and not Amoled is there a big difference in terms of image quality?

I haven’t seen a lcd for this phone personally but the image quality would be way less, colors would be off etc. I would only consider that route if you were trading it in maybe. I don’t like to use parts that were not designed for the phone like lcd and oled swaps like that. Some phones it’s not a big deal but these Samsung’s I wouldn’t risk it. I’ve seen where a oem oled phone trying to use a lcd made the image with green tint and terrible. Do it at your own risk.

Mine bent in half .... Front and back destroyed as well as shell ... R.i.p. hopefully I can get it fixed but I'm most likely going to d.i.y. and try to fix phones as a side gig now for cheaper than average costs

Does the fingerprint reader still reads your previous fingerprints? or do you have to RESTORE the entire phone to make it works again?

No it’s like powering the phone off and turning it back on. Nothing changes but the broken screen. All works the same as before. If that’s the problem then cheap parts were used or tech damaged it during the repair.

You can just clean the lenses with some alcohol and a microfiber cloth and they'll be perfectly fine.

@ruinleon2639 thank you. Ironically it was a verizon app conflicting the network. It kept saying it wasn't able to verify account. After I disabled the app it worked :D

@@abecruz4142 litterally bought a verizon unlocked phone today of the same one for this repair after 60 days of fully paid they unlock it but it glitches at 60 day sometimes.
