I don’t think there is a need for a 6th bowling option anymore with the impact player rule. I feel the analysts are being really harsh and trying to find faults with the lineup. Overall, looks like one of the strongest on paper

@@shivansh9354 thats a destructive batting line up kuldeep and axar can easily bowl tight 8 overs with wickets. Its good they not selected for long australian tour thhey wil be fresh and ready to hit the ground running i feel this bowling line up is one of best in this year ipl

One word comes to my mind exciting with that batting lineup and a bowling with a good mix of attacking and defensive bowlers I don’t care about winning but this team will force me to watch them

The only thing wrong with Delhi is the quality of their international backups. 75 lacs for chameera and Ferreira - could they not have saved that and maybe avoided a few Indian youth picks and instead gone for Curran or Coetzee for 2-2.5 CR?? That’s the only thing missing for me. Also Ishant went for 75 lacs and Mohit for 2.25 CR?? That could have been a bit better as well, and maybe get more international back-up (eg Shai Hope for 1.25 CR)
