Once ur logged into iTunes, turn the iPod off. Then, press the power and home buttons. I couldn't figure it out for awhile but google was my saving grace LOL

I try this and it did not work, I asked for a refund they didn’t give me any refund, just wanted the refund. I found out that they don’t give you a refund. With emails back-and-forth. Passing 30 days still no refund.

You need to have iTunes but I don’t think you have to be using an apple product like a macbook

Once u have ur iPod plugged into ur computer, turn the power off. Then u hold down power and home buttons for at least 10 seconds till it goes to recovery mode

For those struggling to get ur ipod in recovery mode, make sure u turn it OFF after plugging it into ur computer and logging into itunes. Once its off, then press power and home buttons at the same time. Make sure u hold the buttons down for at least 10 seconds🤟

You don't have to, the best way to do it is to put your device in resore mode and conect it to itunes using your computer, then click update. When it updates you only have to wait for another hour then your device will be usable again.

But the strange thing is, that your ipod says "ipod is disabled connect to itunes with showing the date and time. but my ipod says ipod is disabled connect to itunes without showing the date and time and also the background is blurred. the only things it shows clearly is the battery and the text on the top left corner saying "ipod". my mum has tried to fix it before in the past and even went to a apple expert but we couldnt do anything.
