Since we’re talking about some techs for Ippo, here’s a trick I found out about. Whenever you perfect dodge your opponent’s attack and throw a heavy/m2 after, you just have to press the Dempsey button once or twice and it allows you to do the Dempsey roll barrage a lot quicker since you don’t need to press it 2-3 times

7:51 I’m a world champion with ippo and this is AN AMAZING TIP. I use this all the time and I think most people don’t realize that they can do this. This is a tip that extends to all styles and has helped me win many high level champion matches. You knowing this tells me that you really do know how to play ippo.

What's worked for me as a champ 2 Ippo main is playing as a boxer puncher. Using it and turning my disadvantage of slow m1's to an advantage countering before they can hit their m1's. Basically predicting. Also try doing a feint with the Dempsey roll it'll always work to those who try to dash a lot easier because just pressing it again has a longer delay and they can just back dash to escape. Also learn how to dodge I know that's something you're supposed to learn anyway but with ippo you really need to rely on it if you wanna keep the pressure. I can go on more but I already spoke long enough about this lol

Another pro tip with Ippo that I made is While in m1 string do like three punches then side dash left or right wait half a second then throw a heavy it will catch your opponent off guard because you stop a m1 string so they most likely drop there guard for you to land a free m2 or another m1 string with a few free hits I recommend doing this allot to play a mind game with your opponent

Things i think you missed: Ippo's m1's can break most style's blocks with a single bar of stamina. Dempsey dash-in tech is more deadly when enemy is backing away. (because of the dashing overhaul, it comes out almost instantly) Dempsey Barrage has small amount of anti-heal (similar to iron fist but Dempsey Barrage does more anti-heal in my opinion) A tech you missed: Feint Dempsey Roll: Similar to the 2nd tech you showed us but its a feint
