This video sucks because it could be a radio show. If you're going to compare two products, at least show us the product while you're talking about the pork bun in question.

There's no hot sauce in the momofuku pork bun, it's hoisin sauce and it's not even remotely spicy. also the mayo that he's talking about is a JAPANESE mayo called Kewpie and it's very different from the hellmans mayo in your fridge.

Lots of dislikes on this. O.o I've not tried either and I feel left out. There NEEDS to be Hungry Nation representatives in San Francisco. We're know for our good food.

Both are expensive little bites... I think I liked Ippudo more though.

I concur. It's a pork bun not a mayo bun.

let me tell you about a hidden (or not) gem for pork bun place in Manhattan, it's located in Chinatown, the name is GOLDEN STEAM. like seriously guys. you both should stop wasting your time (and money) at those overpriced restaurants ad spend less than $1 to get pork bun at golden steam!

Chris. Your reason is also the reason why you lose on this one. The perfect pork bun (momofuku) has the perfectly cooked pork belly, which give it the fatty goodness. A pork bun that needs MAYO indicates that the pork is dry and needs more fat to make it delicious. Hey I love mayo (kewpie) as much as the next guy, but when you say a porkbun needs mayo? Crutch.
