People like fresh and fit will take preach’s emotion as weakness because they are weaklings, constantly trying to pretend to be strong. So when they see somebody showing emotion (perceived weakness), they can’t comprehend it and they see it as an opportunity to say “look he’s weak, i’m not, haha”. What preach brings to the A&P team, is unfiltered emotion and thought, and we appreciate him for it

I've lived in South Texas almost my entire life, about 3 decades. These are my people, and I know them. As long as there is even a miniscule shred of evidence that the guy was doing what they killed him for, the jury will walk them. They won't even take 30 minutes to vote on it. And that's not even factoring in the fact that this is Hispanic culture on top of it. If it's truly a jury of their peers, which would be all south Texas hispanics, they'll laugh at the judge and ask why this is even at trial to begin with.

Preach went somewhere in his mind after he told his life story. Somewhere dark. The entire shift in his demeanor after that... the way he talked, the way his body language changed, how he looked at the floor while he centered his anger into something somewhat constructive. @lindoindo26
@lindoindo26 Жыл бұрын
You make a good point. Technically if this man had a warrant for arrest, it’s the states fault he was killed since had he been in jail he wouldn’t have been taken out. So in theory it was the lack of the state that caused his death. So state da charge the state.
@corbinlenning3505

That is very poor argument. First off depends on the state. Some state say you must flee your own home. If it is state that has castle doctrine in the laws your legal allowed to defend your home. However, there is big difference between this and your example and this story. Invader in your example is immediate(right than and now) threat. These boys did not catch him in the act in order for it to defend of their sister. These boy chase this man down 2 times to beat him to death. That is murder and not defense. One day I packed a large knife into my backpack because I had already talked to people about what was happening to no avail. I knew they were going to start the same shit when I was walking home that day. It just so happened that my dad picked me up because he got off work early that day. Quick explanation of Jury nullification. It's when a jury essentially knows the person is guilty but refuses to convict. It's usually when jurors are against a particular law but it can also be used, for when the facts of the particular case being tried, conviction would be unjust. I wish people would use it in cases like this. Kinda skirts around vigilante justice because if someone lets say drives their rapist off the road and happens to kill an innocent bystander you wouldn't use it or just nullify the murder of the rapist.

@@lampad4549 you bring up some valid points, however the context of this particular topic involves the sexual abuse of children. A+P both spoke upon the consequences in a society where someone who commits these heinous crimes isn’t held accountable immediately for their actions and is allowed to continue their abuse upon further victims. This person has proven that they’re beyond redemption by not just committing these crimes upon a single victim over several years for which they were a father figure, but also there is at least one additional victim. We can speak of these things objectively because it isn’t happening directly to us. God forbid anyone does this to someone I care about, but rest assured, their fate will be the same.

Its cases like this, where 3 boys could get life for protecting their little sister, that I wish the justice system could be switched for a moment. I hope these boys will get an opportunity to less sentencing and proper care to process their trauma and become good members of society. Preach, totally there with you mate. Several years ago here in the UK, I met a young woman crying on the street. I helped out and paid for her taxi, offered to carry her bag... As we were walking to the address she was looking for she just kept saying I did it I did it it's in the bag ... I look in the bag and see a 12" kitchen knife caked in dried blood. Big old wide blade too. She had just murdered a pedophile that allegedly abused her boys. Turns out he was a convicted peado in police protection housed near a fking primary school. She stabbed him 8 times so hard she punched the blade straight through his chest and he was dead before he hit the floor. She had completely screwed herself and there was no getting away with it, so with a heavy heart we threw her a party that night and I then held her hand to the police station and went in with her so she could hand herself in. That was one of the hardest things I have done in my life. Fortunately we don't have the death penalty. She would have got 8 years but battered a prison guard while in holding so I think she got 14 years in the end. She should have been given a medal.
