Just FYI, to anyone that's installing one of these IPS Snap Cap Exhaust Roof Vent's, you need to cut a 6-1/2" or 7" hole, not the standard 4-1/2" that other vents use since this is an adjustable to fit any 3" or 4-1/4" or 6" exhaust vent pipe. I prefer this IPS Snap Cap Exhaust Vent over the standard ones they sell at your local hardware store. Lower Profile design with exhaust door that doesn't clog up to keep debris out and functional, unlike others.

I have been hunting for weeks. They only sell at plumbing supply stores via a distributor. Super hard to buy in my experience. Total pain.

I like the caps but was told "exhaust vents need to be at least 1 foot above roof surface" ? ?
