I used to get Ipsy back when it came in a small cosmetic bag every month. I loved it for the first couple years because they gave a good mix of roughly 2-3 makeup items, 1-2 skincare and or like one haircare or tools (like makeup brush or similar). Also, it was a good variety of name brands, newer/unknown brands and you'd get a high end thrown in, too! Then after awhile, it got boring and repetitive. I would get the same mascara mini 3 months in a row and a ton of face/hair masks. So, I cancelled and did Boxycharm. I got amazing stuff in the beginning and then over time, I would get a mascara and then the rest would be toners/masks/hair oils. Cancelled after 2 years. I loved the Boxy Pop-Up shop more than anything. I think for the price, they should make it more interesting and offer the option between a skincare heavy box or a makeup heavy box and just throw some beauty tools and haircare in the box every now in then. Hopefully, the next one will be more fun! On a side note, your cat is adorable. He's a little chunker :) Pets are a huge blessing. I really enjoy your channel. I respect that you're so open about your past struggles. I lost a husband to addiction. I hope you don't mind, but I keep you in my prayers. Keep doing what you're doing :)

I'm very new when it comes to Ipsy. I had started getting Boxycharm back in 2021. Then I decided to try Ipsy, so I was getting a GBP and Boxy base box for a few months. Boxycharm started making me upset with bad boxes, so I cancelled a few months before they completely merged with Ipsy and Boxycharm basically became Ipsy. I've been with Ipsy since February 2022 and I've had the Icon box since February 2023. I've always been super excited about my Icon boxes, except the two I mentioned, but I'm just hoping next months Boxycharm by Ipsy will be better. I got Sunday Riley Good Genes in the Boxycharm mega-drop shop sales. I MISS THOSE. They were so damn good. So many great products I still love and buy to this day because I found them there. But I agree, if there was an option where we could pick "skincare heavy" or "makeup heavy" boxes each month, that would be amazing. Thanks for the comment about Ryker. He's my best friend. I love him so much. I'm so sorry to hear that about your husband. I try my best to be open because I always look at it like this, "if I can help one person, it's worth it to share my personal story." I just want people struggling to know that people can get sober and be happy sober. It didn't seem possible while I was in the midst of my addiction, but it's 100% true. Groove is a weird one, I think it's her cream to powder formula. I love the rest of the palette though! If I had to pick one palette for the rest of my life, this one would at least make the finals. If you're looking to save on Xenon, I know some makeup youtubers have codes. I think Theresa_is_dead has one, and maybe Angie Nyqvist.

We got the same items except I chose the perfume over the dr jart . I wish I would have got the plus instead of icon . Because I would have spent less & I thought boxy had better choices. I noticed I spend a lot of money on Ipsy so I just canceled my boost & glam bag iam gonna stick with boxy . I really wanted that foundation

I think I had the perfume as an option, but I wasn't sure if I'd like the scent. So anytime perfume is a choice, I don't usually go for it because of how picky I am when it comes to scents. But yes! I spend a bunch, especially on Icon Box months! That's why I was so upset because it's not a cheap box and I'm not thrilled with a lot of the products. I would've been way happier if I had at least gotten the Charlotte Tilbury foundation! I usually LOVE my Icon box, but I'm just sad I didn't this month.
