Unite 7! 😃 I got a full-size one in a Glossybox Easter egg a couple years ago, & I absolutely adore it. I have fine, thin hair that, for some reason, snarls like a little bitch, & that Unite 7 makes my brush glide through my hair. It smells good too.😍

Asbestos, for one. Inhaling it can cause serious lung problems, there are links to ovarian cancer, & most importantly: The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has classified talc as a carcinogenic, mutagenic, and reprotoxic (CMR) chemical, and talc will soon be banned in cosmetics in the EU.

Some talc mines are near asbestos or arsenic due to the mineral composition. So when they use talc they need to test it for arsenic and asbestos to make sure it is like a clean source of talc. They didn’t used to do this and long time users of talc, especially in intimate areas where it could be absorbed, could get cancer. Most products don’t use talc these days and those that do that are from reputable brands are well tested. This is why you need to not get cheap products from unknown companies that may not test. But to be safe some folks avoid it even when using in small amounts in ways that are unlikely to be dangerous. Understandably.
