Bought everything you suggested. I’ve got a working active Ethernet line plugged into the adapter, exactly how you’ve got it, but can’t get ETHERNET option to show up on Firestick. I’ve tried 3 different adapters (bought extra just in case). Any suggestions? The small LED lights on the adapter do not light up, but the line is active as I’ve plugged into other Ethernet devices and it works. Great channel!

I appreciate you watching! Interesting. What generation of Firestick do you have? If an older device I would suggest updating your software or upgrade to a newer Fire TV Stick 4K.

When you switch from WiFi to Ethernet, turn off your WiFi on your Firestick first, then put it to sleep, unplug your modem and router, plug in your ethernet cable, then power up your modem and router. Once it’s ready to go you’ll see the Ethernet connected

Had same problem. 4k gen 2 stick, Tested on pc, all ok? Just wont power up the Ethernet side. No lights on the adaptor . Tried everything. Sent back to Amazon. Using an ethernet adapter but a poor one like the Amazon one. Only 60mbs. Guess it will have to do

I purchased the single gigabit UGREEN ethernet adapter and tried to use it with an OTG cable to the Firestick but it would not work, the firestick power cord doesn't seem to supply enough power to the single UGREEN adapter to illuminate the lights on the ethernet port (the green light briefly lights up then turns off), but if I plug the UGREEN's USB connector into my computer both the orange & green lights stay on. I see the adapter you're using here in the video but my question is how would this one differ from the one I purchased? Thanks in advanced for your help!

You used an otg adapter with a usb a port for your Ethernet gig adapter, I need a otg with usb c connector because my Ethernet gig adapter has a usb c. I’m trying to avoid using a usb c female to usb a male adapter, any suggestions???

This looks like a really messy & complex solution - remember every connection is an opportunity for a failure! and Analiti shows you don't need triple the speed for upto 8K so why bother ?
