Gong ziyu needs to understand that gong shungjue is not his enemy as he never really tried to harm him all he want is to protect the Gong family. All those back hill people trying so hard to hard to help yu shuxin escape are not making sense . Gong ziyu claimed that he wants to protect the family but now it just seems like an empty talk. Gong ziyu is such a poorly written character Instead of asking yu shuxin about other wufeng spies that might be in the residence and the information she sent back all he cares about is protecting her , his character has developed in terms of power but not in terms of personality. I guess the reason wufeng always have an upper hand and successfully assassinated their main figures is because there is no unity in their family.
