We review three IR (infra Red) Flashlights and one Weapon Mounted IR Laser to compare their effectiveness on distant objects. We used a PVS-14 Night vision device and a Digital Camera for filming this test.
There was no moon on a clear night in the mountains above Tucson at 4500 feet and 38 degrees
We tested;
a Surefire M1 Infrared Illuminator
and a High Powered 3W InfraRed IR Drop-in Module inside a Surefire G3 that cost under $20
and a 12-LED IR InfraRed Flashlight that cost under $10
and a Laser Devices DBAL A2 IR Laser / Illuminator / Visible Laser
