Sardine fish processing Ready to eat fish available very abundant after north east mansoon.you can witness what is going on in the rameshwaram fish landing centre during mansoon period.all the catches are sent to kerala.our resouces used by neighbouring state. Marine ornamental trade Mostly culturable species.

Thank you for giving a fantastic outline of our district. We are very thankful to Sureshsambandam and Vikatan for their initiation. All your business ideas sound good but I don't know who will take the first step for those because we don't have enough entrepreneurs or investors in our region. Most of the people in this region are poor and are sold to the Arab world by the government of India and Tamilnadu on their indirect slave trade for foreign remittance. This is an undeveloped part of India that has very weak infrastructure except the roadways which are made for tourists and not for the local people. It is painful to say that people in this region are struck with their low paid and intensive traditional works and there is no industrial and technological development here. Even the outline of your presentation looks similar to developing an undeveloped part of Africa. When we checked the recently released urbanization comparison using the nighttime satellite map of Tamilnadu in 2011 and 2021 to illustrate the development of Kongu region, it is heartbreaking to darkness in Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai district as similar to a reserved forest. Please bring some level of government attention here. Otherwise, at this level of the development rate, the world can see the pathetic situation of this region in some movies like Kozhangal part-II in 2050.

If taken to central government with proper project reports the dreams will come true Solar panels if installed as portable, it can serve 2ways, i think. In the rainy season it can be shifted to salt making places 2/1. Underground water will not go deep. Protect dried salt also. Very thought provoking thing. Even punjabis got the land at throw away prices and they have made it as golden place. Kydos to all

Regarding the solar project there is availability of 1,00,000 acres, minimum requirement is 4 acres. Sizes of land parcel over 4 acres, category of the land, present usage by local community has to be taken into consideration for assessment. Ramanathapuram is blessed with onshore and offshore Wind Potential, there is great potential for offshore wind farms.

Sir everything is ok but regarding tourism apart from Rameswaram & thanuskodi... Ariyaman beach is exxagerated I am from that place only nothing new in ariyaman beach infact if u go on few miles pamban bridge is beautiful scenerio... Then some cultural heritage sites are there in few places.... But mostly Rameswaram & thanuskodi recieve lot of PPL especially from north India....

Idea of ship breaking is not environmental friendly. People should understand the difference between Alang ship breaking yard, Gulf of Khambat and Valinokkam ship breaking, Gulf of Mannar. Tide level in Gulf of Khambat is one of the Highest tidal influence area (approx. +12m) in the world and less marine biodiversity and highly polluted area, there are no alternate livelihood in the adjoining salf affected areas. On contrast Gulf of Mannar is a shallow coast and less tidal variations and it is one of the first Marine Biosphere Reserve in SE Asia with many variety of Corals, Marine mammals, Fishes, Turtles, Sea grasses and Algal resources.
