Signed into law in 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is once-in-a-generation legislation. It is the largest federal investment in United States history, confronting and taking action on climate change, giving money directly to the people for taking steps toward a more resilient future.
Investments are projected to achieve up to a 40% reduction in climate pollution by 2030. We are already seeing the positive impacts of transformational climate action - clean energy and climate-smart projects are underway across the country, creating hundreds of thousands of good, clean energy jobs.
