This is from 11 years ago and it is still helping me understand irac so succinctly! Thank you so much

Subscribed. My professor was so terrible at explaining CREAC. She had to add, delete and reorganize her notes on blackboard so that everyone could understand what she was trying to teach. The worst part was that this experimentation was going on in real time as the semester rolled along. I'm looking forward to having a new legal analysis and writing professor when I transfer.

In the rule of the IRAC method, why didn't we insert the elements of negligence
@Stevenson9183 жыл бұрын
Professor Kim, may I please know if I should put all issues in the Issue paragraph as there may be more than one issue in one question? And then put all the rules in the Rule paragraph? Or I should state the issues like below: The first issue R A C The second issue R A C And so on?

Nice breakdown of the ISSUE using the under - does/is- when - concept for this case. But, here the RULE states "A driver who is suddenly stricken by an illness that renders it impossible for him to control the car, and which he had no reason to anticipate would occur while driving is not chargeable with negligence." However, Cohen v Petty’s rule states: injury resulted from a sudden, unforeseeable illness…Therefore, there is a measure of negligence because the D-Keegan knew that it would occur and did have reason to anticipate a narcolepsy episode could/would occur during any driving event. D-Keegan did have reason to believe it would occur again. There are more relevant facts for this argument and issue questions to be considered before making such a broad prediction regarding this conclusion in my opinion.

I am business student. I have commercial law subject and inside have one question need to answer with IRAC format. I don't know how to answer it. It is possible to help me to explain . Here is my question " John a seventeen year old school boy , woke up late one morning, showered and rushed to the main road whereupon he flagged a taxi, and directed the taxi to his school . Upon arriving, he found he hand no money for his fare. What can the driver do? In any case, is John liable for the taxi fare?

Why do you think the fact that Keegan was a cab driver not relevant? To me, the fact Matt drove a cab is crucial.
