A huge tip for those starting out, if you can, do the long endurance gt3 races when available. I did a class D 4 hour gt3 race today, went from C 2.3 sr to B 4.58 sr. One endurance race at the Nurburgring, even with half a dozen crashes, will get you a promotion (so long as you have 4/4 races in the class already ofc). And, it is amazing training for getting consistent and safe.

Licenses need a revamp. It should be harder to get to A and keep it. I made it to A after like 4 months and have stayed there for 7 years.

Im sure I'm in the minority here, but I wish they would throw in some different unranked races up every once in a while, beyond just week *13. It's good to just have some fun every once in a while and not have to be concerned with SR and IR.

That is why we have league races and championships. Just find one that races cars you enjoy on tracks you own and I promise you that will be most fun you’ve had on iRacing, not least because SR/IR are unaffected but you always race the same group of people and racing is really clean and enjoyable.

@@kruger78 yea I don't know too many other people that sim race so I'm kind of in my own for that stuff. I've done some leagues in rf2 and ACC but not in iRacing

JT I don’t know anyone either, I just browse the car specific forums and meet people and learn about leagues. When you find a league, submit an application and tell them about yourself and ask to join. Everyone welcomes good and clean racers who enjoy racing. There are official series that are good too, just need to find the ones that suit you best. PM me on iRacing and I can talk you through it.

Matt C I'm sorry but $ 12 is expensive for me. Example: 15 € for tracks x 20 = 300€, it's huge (it's an estimate since I no longer play this game)

@@AymericFR05 if you don't play any more then why ask them to reduce the price? They have a business to run, it costs money. And no-one NEEDS to buy 20 tracks, you could stay in Street Stock or Global Mazda and not have to spend a cent more than your subscription fee

Matt C 1.at least they are almost the same price as Raceroom of cars and tracks (I think a car costs 3€ and a track costs around 5€) 2. if I want to try a season with Porsche iracing cup and Formula 3 (this is an example), the game will just ask me a lot of money to pay for the cars and circuits required for that
