Something to consider is showing sector times. It would make it easier differentiate loss of time sector by sector. I'm about a second pace put unsure where I need to focus. Still a great guide!

Unfortunately that's not possible for now until there's an easier way to track/record sector times in iRacing. You can either compare your telemetry with mine, or load up one of the lapfiles into the sim, set the delta bar to "vs comparison sector" and drive against the ghost which refreshes every sector. Just to give an insight into my workflow: I usually drive between 30-40 laps per track. Sometimes it can be more when the track is long/new/difficult, on Rudskogen it took me 85 laps until I had it nailed down. I usually end up with 5-7 laps which are within a few tenths, from which I pick the best/cleanest one for the video. This is a process which takes place over several sessions, over 1-2 weeks. iRacing sector times are not tracked in replays, and 3rd party software doesn't recognize them. They all go by own sector times which are often divided based on a random number of turns. I am happy to be corrected, but the only way for me to be able to share them would be by manually tracking them after every stint/maybe even every lap because they get overwritten during the stint. That's not only a hassle, I don't really want to care about anything besides driving when I'm trying to set a reference lap. All files I'm sharing can be recorded/tracked which allows me to pick the correct ones when I decide which lap I take for the video. That's not the case with the original iRacing sector times. They are not being recorded, it's not possible to track them and they are lost once the session ends.

There's no delta box in replays and I don't record the actual sessions I'm driving in.

@@crexLive gotcha. I can record the actual sessions I drive in using twitch studio, have you thought about recording the live sessions with a screen recorder like twitch studio and then using that to chop up and edit and put words on top of?

Being totally honest here: No, not really. I don't need those recordings for my productions, and I don't want to work with them either. You can't really use them to chop them up and edit them together again, the quality would drop significantly. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand that sector times would be a "nice to have" in some situations, but since they aren't widely supported it would be a ton of additional work for very little additional value. Especially since I'm sharing the telemetry anyway, which you'll definitely need for anything that's going towards a potential gain/loss of +- 0,5-0,7s when you want a reliable answer. In that range you also need to take additional conditions into account like the state of the tires or temperatures, which you can only compare there. At the end of the day you might not even need to go that far - loading the ghost for a lap can give you enough hints on where you're losing the time. When iRacing makes them trackable I'm totally down to include them, but right now it's not really appealing to deal with the additional hassles.

Yeah that's a classic =D it can take few weeks, but since you became aware of it you will soon get used to the real limit of the car and make a big step forward =)

I got this game yesterday on a free trial I got. And I did a 1:22,342 on controller and I won my first race I might buy a wheel do you think it would be worth it ?

Ultimatively that's something you need to decide for yourself. You also need to keep in mind that you won't be done with a wheel, because iRacing itself costs quite a bit. The subscription, cars, tracks.. you'll easily end up spending at least 200-300$ on it during your first years on the sim, if not more. I don't know from where you are, but it might be worth it to pick up Assetto Corsa Ultimate (8€ right now) or Assetto Corsa Competizione (13€ right now) in the current steam sale when you're not sure if you want to stick with iRacing but still enjoy sim racing.
