11:16 samulation made 2 changes of direction to defend he came out of the corner and had his car pointed at the right hand side of the track then changed direction to defend and now was holding the inside line and then attempted to come back to the right as the car behind was significantly faster and also right on his bumper. Once he made the defensive move he should have held that line until he needed to get back into the racing line for the corner

has iracing ever considered just adding the slowdown to your time post race instead of these dumb in race ones that cost you way more time and cause incidents?

No because iRacing believes DYNAMIC slowdowns make more sense.

The entire punishment system for track-cutting needs to be revisited.

Issue comes with it predicts how much you would gain by intentionally cutting these corners compared to doing them normally, of which it has zero data for on lap 1 due to for some reason not using your Quali sector times. It would never be able to add an appropriate time post race to results and of course that doesn't solve the potential issue where course cutting gains you far more positions than any time penalty could lose you.
