This car was still undrivable for me this weekend. Idk what changed today but these cars are fucking amazing. Did the new tire model come through? Cause the legends feel amazing as well

Great vid again, was always fun watching your old V8 vids, but never got into trying them myself. With the new content, had a lot of fun in week 14. Going to be a nice change from the GT4-GT3 i usually run. Already looking into setups and saw your VRS suggestion. Already membered up by now :-) Pitty he only did a Chevy setup and not the Ford. With the Ford i'm much more stable and a bit faster with the iRacing baseline setups.

The 2 cars share setups so the chev set can be used with the ford 👍

@@hobbo88 yea, was on VRS Discord earlier, heard both cars are actually identical apart from the bodywork and sound being different. I could have sworn i noticed difference in between the 2 cars running them on Spa & LeMans while using their iRacing Spa baseline setups. Gonna double check later if those Spa setups are actually the same in numbers from both, it could have been my brain being tricked. :-)

That was some great clean racing to watch( from your side 😂), the flat 3,4 section over the top you had the runs where he defended down into 5, that always gave you the criss cross and better run up into the left hand T6, he never defended into there once, I'd have tried chucking a nose down the inside there.

@ yeah, I got caught up with someone spinning and brushed the barrier, seemed to get away with it and my steady pace allowed me to motor back through, I lost maybe 4 seconds in the stop so would’ve been 9th or so which was great considering end of lap 1 I was last

How did you stall not enough RPM or user error on clutch?

@@helmetculture I bogged it down with too little rpms, it started to slip then bogged and stalled, I was immediately on the starter and managed to get away haha.

Luckily I have a team of guys around me all building setups. For people looking for a place to start Madison down builds sets for VRS and I expect they would have a daypack out for Watkins already 👍

Just curious... but whens the best time to run Supercars... i've been wanting to race them for a while its just i don't know when the best split is to race them.. (USA EST Timezone) Does anyone know? or any groups/Leagues?

Have a look in the iRacing Forums, there are a few options which should have you cevered.

Australian time in the evening so about 3am for you is probably going to be the most popular. However there always used to be a weekend time slot which was called the Americas Split and would be something like 7-8pm your time on a Friday / Saturday night from memory. That would be around mid day Saturday / Sunday for the east coast of Australia and more likely to attract drivers from here. I guess just being around at those times to see what happens and what participation looks like. For the first few weeks races will go official quite regularly all throughout the week I imagine
