I just managed to purchase a 5k plus for a very decent price. Do you mind sharing your pitool setting and any other settings?

How is the sense of speed with the 8kx? I would assume it would be much better with the Fov

Still not the same as real (obvious), yet it's another level over all other VR headsets and specially monitors (triples).

Absolutely perfect choice for simracing! I've tried a lot of VRs (all Vive models, Valve Index, HP Reverb, etc due to my job specifics) but only Pimax 5K/8K suits best for simracing, because of it's FOV. If you ever try comfortable play with properly setup Pimax VR - there is no road back. 8KX is a top notch headset and you have to be ready for it in terms of your PC specs. If you are below something like 2080 Super - I'd recommend to go with Pimax 5K Super. It's resolution per eye + FOV + refresh rate makes it's absolutely "best buy" choice. Yet if you have some serious PC power and money to spend - go with 8K X and you won't regret, after you'll hit the track with 100% resolution in SteamVR. The first time when being in VR you are not seeing pixels, but some 3D model's lacks of quality and polys ))) Image is so crisp, that's finally can be compared to what you see on the monitor. And after latest firmware update 8KX can operate at native resolution with 90Hz - and it's more than enough to feel connected with the car, using direct drive wheel. P.S. sorry for such long speech but I really recommend you Pimax device if you do like simracing in VR.
