I feel bad for the guy who was just pacing thru the crash in 3rd gear and just got squeezed and crashed. Anyway, love the video!

Yeah, a lot of people did a good job of trying to avoid it but got caught in it anyway. When a car towards the front of the field spins at turn 1 lap 1 there is usually going to be a big mess.

I think it's because they are packed together and some of them panic and lose control leading to chaos

nice video, I was in split 30 with a sof of 1788 and apart from a dude spinning out turn 2 on lap 1 taking out 4 people, we got only 3 other cautions with minor incidents

Thanks. Yeah, higher SOF doesn't automatically equal cleaner race or vice versa.

Is it possible as newcomer in iRacing to drive the IndyCar Series or does I have drive other series before? The Indycar is the only serie which is interesting for me to buy iRacing.

If you want to run in official races you would have to work you way up through at last rookie and D license. It doesn’t necessarily take that long and is part of the process. If you find a league that is running the Indycar they make their own rules and may be happy to accept rookies.

Yep, and caused a big mess. Always going to be a bad when someone up front does that at the start.

Is this a multiplayer race setting with real ppl racing?

Yes, iRacing is almost exclusively online racing against real people, they only recently added a bit of AI.

My split was all on IR,I think cuz I didn't qualify. I would always crash so didn't set time, im not very good on ovals lol did better in tune race
