irama (born Filippo Maria Fanti; 20 December 1995) is an Italian singer-songwriter. [2][3] He officially debuted on the music scene participating in the 66th Sanremo Festival in 2016 with the single What will remain in the category "New Proposals"but rose to prominence in 2018 following the victory of the seventeenth edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi. He was also the winner of Amici Speciali, spin-off of Amici di Maria De Filippi, dedicated to the fundraising of the Civil Protection for the emergency COVID-19. It has achieved 47 platinum discs and 5 gold discs, corresponding to 3 325 000 sales units certified by FIMI.
