You are brilliant and 100% correct in everything, but I have to totally disagree with the generational disconnect you talk about in America. Perhaps it happens in some families, but a majority of American parents sacrifice their time (much more than Indian parents) and money for their children and there are children who sacrifice their life for their parents too. I know a lady who left her job and stayed home for more than 10 years to look after her mom and I know families where old and disabled parents live with their children. There are families in India who keep their parents at home and abuse them emotionally or worse turn them on the streets. In this area you must learn more about Americans (and Indians) dear PTR.
