It is highly unlikely that the United States had anything to do with the crash of the Iranian helicopter. The US is already mired in a war in Ukraine that it has lost (but refuses to admit that fact) as well as the Genocide in Gaza. In addition, there are major tensions with China over Taiwan and the South China Sea. Under those circumstances, a war with Iran goes strongly against the interests of the United States. On the other hand, Israel is losing the war in Gaza and is trying to expand that war and draw the US into it by provoking a conflict with Iran. Although bad weather is still the most likely cause of the crash, I wouldn’t put it past Israel to sabotage the helicopter that crashed and killed the Iranian President and foreign minister. The US State Department spokesman’s intemperate remarks about the Iranian President’s “Human Rights” record were gratuitous and churlish, especially given the fact that the United States is actively aiding and abetting the Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
