Iranian calendar is a Hijri calendar but Solar one while what we use is a Lunar one. Solar calendar is 10 days longer than Lunar one. Start of both Lunar and Solar calendar is Hijrat of RasulAllah (Peace be Upon Him). Current Islamic year is 1445 while current Iranian year is 1402.
