Iranian President in Sri Lanka: Raisi to inaugurate hydroelectric complex

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi has arrived in Sri Lanka on a visit aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries.
He's meeting President Ranil Wickremesinghe and inaugurating a multi-million-dollar power plant built by an Iranian engineering company.
Ahead of this visit, Raisi spent three days in Pakistan as part of his tour of South Asia.
Al Jazeera’s Minelle Fernandez has more from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
North Korea has sent a high-level delegation to Iran.
The rare visit is prompting speculation of co-operation between the two nations on their weapons programmes.
Pyongyang and Tehran are known to have close ties and both are under international sanctions.

Due to western sanctions, their economy is still in acid test yet they have a beautiful heart to help Sri Lankan with 500 million USD. Iran missile program is way more advanced than north Korea and according to Uzi Robin the father of Israel missile defense at least for the past ten years the flow of technology was from Iran to north Korea. Iran sent satellite to space decades ahead of north Korea and according to Mossad north Korea space program is start to succeed only after Iranian specialist joined them . Iran is paying back north Korean help in the 80s with loyalty and technology
