But this other law wasnt mentioned n so you're completely right that this ridiculous age stuff is for distraction & it's terrifying even to hear what you're saying. Thank you so much for shedding light on this. I live in the U.S. and had no idea this was happening. Sadly there are rich and powerful people everywhere. And I've also seen they twist their religious beliefs to claim they are doing it in the name of God. I live in a state called Minnesota. My first impression of the Islamic faith was negative due to extremely rich and powerful men who would stay in Rochester, Minnesota because that is where a world famous clinic called the Mayo is. These wealthy men would twist the Islamic faith to humiliate women. However the men would not live according to the Islamic faith and lived immoral lifestyles. They would sometimes s@xually assult the women who worked at the hotels they stayed in. They would get away with it because of money and power. Since then I have seen a very different side of Muslims. Being a refugee state many from Somalia have moved here. They are people of humble means. From what I've seen the women are treated with respect and the men and women are very devote to their faith. Because of your channel I see Iraq in a beautiful light. I know our faiths differ, but just as there are words of wisdom in the Quran, there are words of wisdom in the Bible. And I believe many, regardless of faith, will agree with these words of Ecclesiastes 8:9 that says, "All of this I have seen; and I applied my heart to every work that has been under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm." Those in power have brought great harm. But later verses promise that God sees their deeds. They are judged accordingly. I genuinely cried and am crying after seeing your video. I am so sorry you are going through this. You are a good man with lots of love in your heart. May God watch over you and protect you.

I'm against the law and I'm a Muslim alhamdulillah I pray five times a day. This law is insane maybe a thousand years ago in a tribal Society when people were living out in the wilderness everybody got married as soon as they were physically able and for good reason. Nowadays 9 year olds can't even tie their shoes back in the day they were fully functioning citizens and it has very little to do with the number of years and everything to do about the biology but nowadays it's just sick everybody knows why they're doing it they just want to victimize some kids😢 subhanallah

But with all the negative developments recently you can’t move back to uk because the situation there is also not welcoming. Iraqi Kurd here, first time I'm hearing about what is happening and it is really terrifying. Both proposed laws are literally taking Iraq back to the stone ages and not aiding progression. Completely agree that the country can only move forward with the young generations talent shining through society and making changes even on a small scale. But for this to happen corruption needs to GO otherwise people will continue leaving... There was a point I was going to retuen and work in Erbil but due to the corruption I decided to stay in the UK and that is sad as there are many people in this position.
