Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's son Uday made a rare public appearance in Baghdad on Friday (22/05), attending a football match at the Al-Sha'ab stadium. Uday, who is chairman of the Iraqi National Olympics Committee, was believed to have attended the match to show that he is still mobile. He has made very few public appearances since an assassination attempt last year in Baghdad when he was severely wounded by unidentified gunmen who riddled his car with bullets. There was speculation that Uday would never walk again. The match he attended was between two police clubs to decide Iraq's league championship. It ended in a draw.

@@valnoroy3744 Jesus Christ... The original commenter was sarcastic... "Seems like a friendly and mentally stable fellow" It's a freaking obvious sarcasm, what are you even on about? Are you really that dense? Yes, he did torture players for every lost/drawn match, he whipped them, shaved their heads, put them in prison or told them to "walk back" home from Kazahstan on foot, yes. But that's not what he was talking about. It was sarcastic, the original commenter, OBVIOUSLY. Also, walk back home could mean three things, as the players had three homes. Their own houses, stadiums and jail. FIFA and IOC is to blame for this too. FIFA 'investigated' a claim that members of the Iraq team had been caned on the soles of their feet for losing a World Cup qualifier to Kazakhstan. The pair of investigators that FIFA sent made no attempt to conduct a proper investigation, they just spoke to the people Uday selected and produced a report completely exonerating him. Yes, people were hurt badly. Yes, it is a very gruesome subject and people responsible, or those that could do anything to stop it, didn't. But, that was a sarcasm!
@iamerror1699
@iamerror1699 2 ай бұрын
@@valnoroy3744 Bad, but what's your point? You're still dense as hell. It was a sarcasm. Are you not allowed to make sarcastic comments about it? Or joke about it? By your logic, we're not allowed to say anything like that about anything bad that has happened to humanity, or a singular human? Like Cold War, World Wars, or just some war between Franks and English in 1400's? You're the least fun human to be around on the planet.
@iamerror1699

@@valnoroy3744 You can't be that dense. "Imagine if that happened to you, I wonder how u would feel it then." Are we not allowed to joke or be sarcastic about anything that has happened to humanity or a singular human? Some war between Franks and English in 1400's? WW1/WW2? Anything? Or do I need a pass to joke about it? Did it have to happen to someone in my family or me personally? My dad was a victim of that Family, thrown in jail and worse, got it easy because he ran to US when he could. Do I have a pass now? Good, I give a "sarcasm" pass to everyone. Are you a victim of their regime yourself? The way you are policing everyone else, it seems like this is a very personal subject to you. If so, then sorry. If not, then you don't have the "moral" high ground, that you think you have. Edit; Bro deleted his comment, funny.

Iraq after Saddam, has a weak regime and controlled by at least america and Iran. I do not want to mention Turkey or saudi etc. However, no one is Forced to war or hide. With Saddam iraqi people had money but as soon as the war with Iran ended we entered extreme poverty. Now, people have money. We don’t have that poverty. We have corruption and a weak regime. Saddams time was different. You cannot compare! Saddam is the only reason that iraq became a easy snack for america and middle East countries such as Iran and Kuwait.
