Welcome to Iraq habibi. The Jewish community lived in Iraq for 2600 years and only politicians were behind our separation... We have nothing but love for people from all around the world and want nothing but peace, love and prosperity. Regardless of where someone is from, we share this planet together and have same goals an ambitions.

@@wheelinthesky300 well the palistinian arab existance in the region now has been longer then the existince of the kingdom of Judea. And zionism wasnt a popular idea within Judaism untill the late 1800s. Before the creation of isreal muslims and jewish people coexisted rather peacefully or atleast way better then the way they were treated in europe. Anti-semitism in the muslim world (i mean hating jewish ppl, arabs are semites too) while completely reprehensible and un-islamic is more coherent then anti-semitism in the west. It is a devolved thought process derived from pointing out the injustices of Palestinian persecution. In the west anti-semitism is popular in skinhead circles and is very conspiratorial and incoherent. I don't know much but from my observation anti-semitism( not anti-zionism ) is more popular in the west and anti-zionism( not anti-semitism )is more popular in the muslim world. It is show by conservatives showing iffy attitudes to jews but support isreal and muslim conservatives denoucing isreal but not minding the existance of jews( cause judaism is the most simmilar religion to islam ). ✌

The 2 guys were well dressed and looked like businessmen and they took this opportunity to make themselves and their country look good. Hope they can use this video to make some money as they are the type that can be very successful.

My family was from bagdad And my uncles have stories about Iraq and it is so sad that we are so close and yet so far from Baghdad. My dream is to come from Israel to Baghdad to see the history of my people. Jews lived in Iraq for 2600 years. It is hard to hide such a glorious history. Peace will come soon. And I hope I will still be alive to see Baghdad And I pray that the Iraqi people will be able to come to Jerusalem, the Holy City, easily. And for whom are the entrance hours to the Temple Mount limited? to muslims? Definately not. They can enter all year round, at whatever time they want. In fact, apartheid in Jerusalem is against Jews. Jews undergo a strict police check at the entrance. They are not allowed to mumble a prayer, they are not allowed to bow in the direction of the prayer, they are not allowed to drink from the taps intended for Muslims only, they must walk on the route that the Waqf decides and undergo humiliation and spitting from the Waqf women who wait for the Jews on this route.

Zion is the land that was Called so by God. So Zionism simply means people who wanted to go back to the homeland nothing wrong with that. When you have been in diaspora for so long and you have the chance to go back to the country that your ancestors are from then grasp it with both hands. As God almighty says. Those who bless Israel he will bless and those who curse Israel he will curse.

I'm Israeli Jew, and in university I several times met with a very large group of Kurds (majority Muslim secular) from Iraqi Kurdistan. Wonderful people! And I can tell you now, they really love the Israelis. This fully confirmed to me the well known fact that there has been a close bond between the Kurds and the Jews since ancient times, and now also between Israel and Kurdistan. so to conclude.. sending love and respect to the Kurdish people, from Israel!

@@mohmad707 I always find it funny when someone who's not Israeli, and not a Jew, thinks he can tell an Israeli Jew what his own identity is. Palestinian Arabs who fled are not returned that's true. Palestinian Arabs who stayed, *are now full equal citizens of Israel in every respect* . As guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence and Basic Law, signed by aaaaall the Zionist leaders at the country's founding. Yet all the Palestinian Arabs in Syria & Lebanon.... are 2nd class people without a right to jobs, without the right to basic citizen rights because they're refused citizenship there. @@ephraimshalom8363 I don't believe in nationalism because I am not a racist. Lets make sure the belief system that created Nazi Germany never rises again. Jews are blessed people not because of their ancestry, but because of their faith in GOD. As for Iraq and its history, we take history from the original artifacts that are found. The Sumerian civilization (which Abraham comes from) was in southern Iraq. Babylon (The Akkadian people) were in middle Iraq, and the Assyrians were in northern Iraq. Those people did not belief in the GOD we belief in right now originally and they worshiped many different things, just like the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Greek. The siege of Jerusalem was a military campaign carried out by Nebuchadnezzar II, king of Babylon, in 597 BC. That is when the Temple was destroyed in Jerusalem and the Jews were brought in two waves by force to Babylon. Since that moment the Jewish religious presence started in Iraq. Later, the multicultural eastern groups converted into Christianity. and Iraq became a Judeo-Christian nation with Zoroastrian presence and other religious minorities. By that time, Iraq was under the Persian empire rule. Arab Muslims first attacked Sassanid territory in 633, when Khalid ibn al-Walid invaded Mesopotamia (then known as the Sassanid province of Asōristān; roughly corresponding to modern-day Iraq), which was the political and economic center of the Sassanid state. Since that day, all the religions became minorities in Iraq since everyone was converted into Islam by force except for those who hid or had skills that were necessary and were able to pay expensive taxes. Anyway, Iraq was always a conservative nation built on family values and rights (not individual rights). I like Orthodox Jews very much and I have an Orthodox Jewish friend from Austria. He shares the same values that Muslims and Christians in Iraq share (family first, individual rights second). We wish the atheists and communists the very best as humans, but if Jews would come to Iraq, I would rather welcome the Orthodox Jew instead of those communists who take rainbow gay flags and run with what they call "pride month". We do not accept these kinds of behavior and we will never accept them. If someone comes to Iraq doing or promoting these things, he will know very fast that he is not welcome the hard way. Don't tread on us.

I’ve been taught by myself to not hate on ethnicity but rather the person himself. I’ve seen many Jews and Israelis behave bad but that doesn’t mean I will condemn Israel or Jews, I simply lay my judgement on that person himself. I see him as a bad human because that’s what we all are - humans. There’s good and bad from everywhere and ethnicity doesn’t matter. Every country has problems and is divided. I as an Iraqi would not be racist against another Iraqi and be mad at all Iraqis for arguing with one right, so why should we do the opposite against other nations? They are also humans. If everyone shared this mindset the world would be much better. I hope you enjoyed your time in Iraq and you’re always welcome back. We as a people are always friendly, it’s these foolish politicians clouding our judgment of each other.
