Beloved sir, dad is diagnosed with liver cirrhosis disease when he was admitted in a hospital for potential transplantation he went through full body checkup to makesure all his major organs functioning well but later we came to know that has 2 blockages in his heart with calcium desposits now we are advised to get rid of the blockages first before the doctors getting their hands on the liver. Can my dad undergo stend angioplasty using orbital athrectomy method now before the liver transplantation? My dad is 58 yrs old. A year earlier chithappa had undergone angioplasty in aruna cardiac care tvl itself now he is perfectly fine and visiting the hospital once in every 4 months.

For major surgeries like liver transplantation you have to get treated of blockages before transplantation. You have to subject your dad for revascularization by angioplasty or CABG whatever your cardiologist suggest. CABG will be high risk in view of liver problem.
