The symbols are all irish pagan symbols from our mythology! Their Screams are like a bansee a celtic spirit who informs of a soon to happen death. the dancers are pucca - celtic spirits who can be both good or bad. So this really mixes our mythology with metal and pop!

Avada Kedavra isn't just a Harry Potter kill spell it's an old Aramaic expression meaning I will destroy as I speak. And as a non binary they are very aware of the power of words. Accepting someone else's preference for a star over a moon but at the same time believing that that person is living a lie and may have a predisposition which is more real and that they have a false consciousness. To me it's similar to Freddie Mercury when he sang Mama I just killed a man where it's generally accepted the man he killed was his heterosexual identity.

Amazing analysis. It also really leans into what Bambie said the song was about: that the song is about being overlooked and having your potential go unnoticed. They killed it out there!

The symbol on Bambi's forehead is called a "triquetra" but when it incorporates a circle entwined within the triquetra it becomes the Celtic "end of life" symbol. what an amazing song, many of the lyrics and symbols wont be understood by other eurovision countries, but to anyone Irish or Celtic... its AMAZING

The symbols in the background are indeed Celtic symbols. Celtic cross, Tree of Life, varieties of Celtic knots. The symbol on their forehead is the Trinity knot.

Finally Ireland choose right. Europe is going mystical. Slovenia choose song about burned witch, in Poland favourite song is about Witcher, in Croatia Let3 has song about woman with horns Babaroga. Finally Ireland is in a game but Bambi needs improve vocally and get revamped.

The symbols are haphazard, with the twisting of the ancient and made up contemporary nonsense. I wouldn't give it any weight as its all thrown together. Real irish culture and the ancient is nothing like this. In fact this is an inversion. I know, I'm irish and i studied ancient irish symbolism, mythology etc. As for the performance, its dreadful.
