Good job on the video guys - glad you'd good time. U are always welcome back. - 🇮🇪 Sadly, Irelands population still has not recovered from the famine. It was a brutal starvation (we still produced a huge amount of food but it was forcibly exported to feed the British while we starved) Think next time u come u shud go to a trad session and mix with locals as it was our music and sense of community that forever lifted us - and lifts us still. 🇮🇪 See u soon!

Personally having lived outside Ireland for many years , I think Ireland is not Ireland without the people, they blend with the experience you didn’t mention them because you were focusing on the mystic Ireland but I think they are the one thing 😉✌️

Excellent video, with some breathtaking scenery. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Ireland. On your next visit, I highly recommend visiting Connemara, Sligo, and on up to Donegal. Donegal is the most beautiful part of Ireland in my opinion, white sandy beaches and beautiful scenery at every turn. They also have some of the biggest sea cliffs in Europe, Slieve League.

It's crazy that they're still burying people in sites like Muckross. I visited a couple of places in Ireland that had fresh graves, but the church was a ruin and looked like it had been for decades. Guess the churchyards are still in use. Ailwee looked awesome. I did the Hawk Walk at Ashford Castle and it probably the highlight of my trip. Great video - made me want to go back :-)

Thank you! Yeah we were surprised too. I’m sure it’s a family tradition for some of those people, probably the same place their ancestors were buried going back a while. In Dublin it’s a bit scary, but outside of there it’s not bad. The biggest thing for me was learning to hug the right side of the road as I drove. I never noticed how much I do that with the left side of the road back in the states. Because you can gauge distance better with the side of the car you are driving from- hugging that side keeps you safer. I actually whacked my passenger side mirror while driving my first time in Dublin because I wasn’t doing that. Once I adjusted to it, everything else was pretty straightforward. Would highly recommend

When did you travel? You seem to be wearing lots of clothes. Just wondering as my partner and I are going over next week. Thank you

Thank you! We went in early October. A bit chilly, but still worth it. Next week is going to be awesome for you

2 comments: (i) Most Irish people have no time for Conor McGregor & consider him a poor representation of our country (ii) There was no famine in 1847, just a failure of the potato crop. There were plenty of other crops & meats (beef, lamb, pork & poultry), unfortunately, the British stole it for export to Britain.

It is desperation for validation when a woman behaves this way, particularly when the male is already married and she is married. There is no dignity in it and definitely reflects poorly on any association with the royal family, when they seek to epitomize decorum

Ayyy, I wouldn’t go that far! I gave the stats for the Dublin metro area by accident, not the city itself. Haha, good catch though! Thanks for dropping in for a watch!
