Usually if your connection flight is within the 24 hours you don't need a transit visa (in most cases, especially in Germany and some other EU) and you can't go out of the airport in this scenario you don't need a transit visa but if you are planning to stay long or exit the airport then Yes you need a transit visa. Hi Brij, I suggest you add that Supplementary visit/family friend form is required only when someone is selects VFS Value added services check and verify services. Otherwise, it is not mandatory.

Well they always asked for that form even without taking any value added services, that form is only for VFS global reference only. I have 5 times experience this up to you. It's just a formal online you can download, print it and fill it, otherwise if they will ask your time & money both will be saved if not then what's the problem

Usually for a Type C visa you will get BIVS imprint on an Indian passport but if you want to be sure I would suggest writing in your application letter that you are planning to visit the UK also, I would be grateful for BIVS scheme. I think it is a Single entry (Overall all total 90 days you can be there in countries including Ireland and UK or as per the permission granted)

Regarding your current work and Ireland related all work documentation as much as you can provide. Along with your personal and financial documents. And for the company or people you are coming for their documents as well. Regarding finance if you are staying in a hotel and food you can consider around €100-150 per day expenses so I would say if you are coming for 10 days your expenses could be around 2 lakh depending on your spending so for this example it's always good to have double money for above example i would say minimum 4L or maximum whatever you can

If the validity of the passport is the only issue then i don't think so koi issue hona chaiye but if there are any jugaad bazi involved then it could be an issue but it was genuine issues then you shouldn't worry about it, or bina try kiye to pata nahi chalega so I would suggest go for it try with proper good documentation will hope for the best 😃

Yes but you have to justify that transaction, explanation required in your application (how, why, source of funds) if you can't genuinely justify that transaction it means it's a red flag, you put that much money only for visa purpose

They have applied for a work permit, and once I get the work permit, they will apply for my critical skills visa. So, I wanted to know when I can apply for a spouse dependent visa. Can I apply for it together with my visa, or do I need to get my residency permit card first and then start the procedure for my spouse's visa?

Depends on how many days/weeks you are going to spends, e.g. 1L for a week apart from your flight and visa but i would suggest 3-5L should be okay

You can apply from anywhere thats not a problem, First thing is you have to apply the job if you got selected and got the job then Company Provides the work permit, many Indians I met they got job and work permit then they came

Yes, absolutely. make sure submit all your study, college admission receipt, fee, etc related documents, along with your personal and financial documents. Bcz providing them extra documents not gonna cost you anything but it will ease your application process with confidence.
