I’m so glad you received Princess Poppy and Irene Dubois because I had a weird perception of them on the show. Seeing them explaining their choices, their mindset for the show and just watching them interact here make me like them a lot. It’s kinda awful how a 40min edited episode of a reality tv show can badly influence our perception (us viewers) of drag queens who spent so much time and money on Drag Race. I live in a place where, so far, there are no local drag performance venues, so this viewing party is always extra exciting to watch every week. It feels like having an actual community to share my Drag Race love with, and I rush here after every episode! I gotta say - I instantly followed both of the guests as soon as I watched Meet the Queens, and Irene was my favorite new cast member. The show sure has come a long way when queens this polished, charismatic, and talented are being sent home right out of the gate.
