Steve Vai is one of my favorite guitarists and I believe there's nothing he can't do on guitar. I am amazed with every note he plays, but often don't find his music accessible, emotionally. Irene is "Accessible Vai". Like Vai, it's limitless musically, and also in the shades and depths of the emotion it evokes. This song is like a journey. All respect to my guitar hero, Steve Vai.
