Your ornaments are just beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing how to make this. I’m going to try to make these for Christmas as gifts and I’m also gonna do some air dry clay, ball/globe ornaments. Hey, I found a substitute for contour paint here in the United States. What I found is A product called Modena paste. It is an air dry polymer clay paste made in Japan. What’s wonderful about this product is that appears to be the same consistency to your contour paint, but it is an air dry polymer clay paste. All I have to do is just add acrylic paint or gouache paint in my desired color and make a tiny coronet piping bag.

Wow! I've spent the last few days watching videos to get inspiration for this year's ornaments.. and out of all these videos, this is my number one favourite. It'll leave me thinking the whole night what piece of clothing should I sacrifice 😂 .. but it'll be worth it if it turns out good 🤞🤞 Thank you for sharing ❤

Wow, just wow!!! After I saw your video with the velvet texture christmass ball i was totally on love with velvet ornaments. But I didn´t want to buy plastic velvet powder. (microplastics) But this method will work great! i have old, red velvet at home and will just make a simple pattern, perhaps, and cover the ornaments in velvet. perfect! yours turned out amazing. very detailed!

Well these are just beautiful! I thought about all of the old but still gorgeous blouses I don't wear anymore and the Fabrics that they're made from. Now I have a use for them! I was so happy to hear you say the ornaments would look more handmade. I hear so many people say it will look more store-bought if you do so and so. I thought the whole idea behind DIY was not to look store-bought. Maybe just a verbal discrepancy but I think the handmade look is what gives DYI of all types it's beautiful character. I'm going to show this to my stepmother who is visiting soon and we will make these together. First I'm going to find the proper tools. Incredibly I have some steel manicuring tools and some Jewelers tools that may work. Another great video Irene!... oh that's funny right after I posted this I heard you say you were using a silk shirt that was too small!

Thanks a lot! I think we're too much into "machines" work now, so a little "handmade" touch is a great idea) I'm searching for antique lace for dressing the dolls for my new restoration project and I was blown away how elaborate those ancient lace and embroidery are! They are much more beautiful than any store-bought modern lace... It's a pity we've lost this art now..
