My father came to Karachi in 1958 when he was 16 from his village in northern Punjab to live with his older brother who was in the Navy so that he could go to school. He left for Canada in the early 1970s. He has very fond memories of his time there but they are fading with age. I want to show him this video. It was very insightful.

Your content is unique, knowledgeable and interesting as always, Mashallah ❤️ I am adding history of Kala Chapra for those who are not aware: British empire started the air travel program for long distant countries by using airship. Three enormous airship hangers were constructed in the world and one of them was in Karachi. It was known as Kala Chapra. It was constructed in the year of 1928 to accommodate British Airship. One of the airship started its journey from England but caught fire in France. Karachi airship hanger was never able to accommodate that airship and was dismantled in 1963.
