I thought only Iris could sing this song so movingly, but you've got it -- just the right combination of nostalgia, gratitude, and sadness. Maybe see you in Omagh at the Folk Park next year as I have hillside cottage about 40 mins away in Cavan.

i think paige does it much better than Iris.

Yes, good sound! I wish those in the audience would listen instead of talking during the performance.

What rude audience! Great job in spite of the noise from some rude folks.

You beat me to it - thinking exactly the same thing. The young artists manage well to not get distracted by the audience.

I love the Andersons! I always look forward to watching them perform and hanging out with them between performances. Who knows? Maybe one day, I could play my guitar and banjo for them. Or else, draw a nice picture for them.

OMG! The Bible talks about a remanent, usually referring to a few remaining faithful followers of God. Well, this group/family is a remanent in traditional music that resonates with the soul/eternal. How many kids this age are even aware of this stuff, let alone appreciate it ? God bless you!

The performance over powers the cackling “BLUE GRASS” snobs in the audience. Hello? Maybe I don’t know shut up and listen? Gosh!
@Querencias77 жыл бұрын
People in the audience ... these are kids trying their best to perform, and learn while performing. You're either there to chit-chat and laugh disrespectfully, or you're there to LISTEN! Please.
@charlesandersen80876 жыл бұрын
these performers are young but consumate professionals all the way! audience needs to shut up.

I attended a series of charity concerts put on by a great guy who got wonderful acts and put on a good show. Unfortunately, the patrons just wanted to drink coffee and talk. I told the promoter "Heck, you just need to rent this place and serve coffee - these people seem to be annoyed by the singers."

good job, can't control the crowd, but if you keep singing they'll take notice, after a while. keep on keeping on and the rest of the world may take notice too.

Beautiful. One thing I'd like ton point out though: The first time in the chorus it's supposed the sun's setting FAST because that rhymes. Second time it's down, because that rhymes with town.
@williamphilip9165 жыл бұрын
Picky, picky, I've seen many occasions when the pros, like Mac Wiseman have changed a line and it doesn't rhyme.

One night while I was singing a big clown kept running his mouth. I stopped singing called him up on stage and gave him the Mike. I asked him some questions. Half way through his answers I started singing again he sat down and shut up
