"IRIS" is the debut English short film by Jithu Anand from Kerala, India. Written by Anja Baalarud Sand, a talented musician from Numedalen, Norway, the film was shot entirely in Germany using the BMPCC 6K Pro camera.
Originally filmed in July 2022, 'IRIS' faced challenges with weather conditions that led to the cancellation of several planned scenes and locations. Originally planned as a 25-minute short film, "IRIS" was shortened to 9 minutes due to the cancellation of several scenes. After two years of reflection, I decided to release the film online, understanding that making mistakes is a part of learning.
Purpose of the Film:
The purpose of this film was to explore the world of filmmaking and learn every aspect of the craft.
